Transfiguration Sunday

Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. On the mountaintop with Jesus and at the Jordan with Elijah and Elisha, we find that transfiguration isn’t about spectacle but about how God’s nearness changes those who are paying attention, as we ask for a double share of the Spirit and prepare to follow Christ down the mountain into Lent.
