'Lay Planting in Today’s World' Appearing in Three Languages

Lay Planting in Today’s World: Engaging All People With Jesus’ Love is an online course from Path 1 that trains laity to start new ministries, new faith communities, and churches. The English-language book version of the course is now available for purchase at the Discipleship Ministries store. Compiled by Doug Ruffle, Bener Agtarap, and Emily Reece, the book lays the biblical foundation in the first three chapters. The following seven chapters give the how and what of church planting.

Path 1 has worked with U.S. United Methodist annual conferences, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and partner churches in the Caribbean and Africa to bring practical, Christ-centered church planting training around the world. French-speaking annual conferences in Africa are using the French language version of the book. A Spanish-language version will be coming out in early 2022.
