On March 19, 2020, Discipleship Ministries partnered with Horizons Stewardship to present a webinar on "Recurring Electronic Giving" and its importance for churches in weathering the financial challenges of the closing of church buildings due to COVID-19 precautions. Over 1,000 persons attempted to register. In that webinar we took a poll and were alarmed by the number of churches that had no plans in place for streaming worship and no platform in place for online giving.
On Tuesday morning, March 24, Joe Park, CEO of Horizons Stewardship (one of the webinar presenters) shared a wonderful idea for churches to help each other in the following email:
