This new song is intended for use in connecting the dots along the story of God's salvation and uses images from scripture, including the liberation from slavery in Egypt, the exile, and the crucifixion/resurrection of Jesus Christ. The first statement of the chorus ("Hosanna") is intended for use on Palm Sunday, and the final chorus can be used on Easter Sunday or any Sunday. Because of its style, any accompaniment will work, from solo piano or guitar to worship band.
