Stories of Impact – Abidjan

The Rev. Franck Brahoua, one of the elders of the Abengourou missionary district (northeast of Abidjan). In this picture, he was reviewing his sermon using an e-reader a Saturday afternoon in the locality called Affalikro. On that day, he told me “the e-reader is an amazing device.” He was particularly interested with the possibility to extensively use the books that were preloaded on the device when he received it, but also to download his sermons. At the time, I was taking this picture (2015), I was not part of the UMC E-Reader Africa Team.
