The Death of Checks

Since 2011 when I came into my stewardship role, I have been talking about the movement away from writing checks and how that might impact local church giving. Lately, a pandemic has made churches aware of the importance of offering digital giving options. This paper explains that the slow death of checks actually began with another world changing event, on September 11, 2001.
