Online Launchpad Training for Those Regrouping in the Wake of Disaffiliation

Launchpad is an adaptable training for those who are organizing new faith communities. It has been used in all sorts of contexts. Launchpad is based on the seven seasons of planting:

• Discerning
• Visioning
• Gathering
• Discipling
• Worshiping
• Maturing
• Multiplying

Every new ministry start, every vital merger, every new campus plant must connect with each of the seasons to reach its kingdom potential. This summer, Launchpad will be customized for communities being formed in the wake of disaffiliation.

Launchpad 2023 is specialized around the challenges of forming new churches and fellowships arising from the disaffiliation crisis in the UMC. It is being offered digitally to enable ease of participation without travel, to as many persons as possible, at a minimal cost ($395 for a team of up to five). Sessions will be held across five consecutive Thursday afternoons, from 4-6:30 p.m. CDT, starting on July 20, 2023, and concluding on August 17, 2023.
