Sometimes a church needs to raise a sum of money, for a building repair, to replace a piece of equipment, or a number of other reasons. While a capital campaign may be the answer, often the size of the amount being raised, the immediacy of the need, and the expense of taking on debt all come together to make raising the money in the present particularly attractive. In those situations, planning a Miracle Sunday may be an excellent choice!

David Bell, President & Executive Director of the United Methodist Foundation of Michigan has generously shared this booklet, written by his predecessor, Wayne Barret. It's designed to help churches plan a Miracle Sunday event to raise money for an immediate need, without a lengthy campaign, pledge cards, or acquiring more debt.
