우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜와 평강이 여러분과 함께하시기를 바랍니다. 오늘은 세계성찬주일입니다. 오늘 전 세계 수많은 그리스도인들이 대륙과 문화를 넘어 한 주님의 식탁에 함께 모여 예배합니다.우리를 하나 되게 하시는 그리스도의 은혜에 감사드립니다. 언어와 문화, 역사와 전통은 서로 다르지만, 그리스도께서 우리를 하나 되게 하셨기에 우리는 한 가족입니다. 오늘 하나님의 백성의 다양성을 기뻐하며, 세상의 평화를 위해 기도하고, 화해의 사명으로 부름받은 공동체임을 다시 기억합시다. 우리의 예배와 성찬, 그리고 나눔을 통해 하나님의 나라가 이루시는 하나 됨과 정의와 희망을 세상에 증거하기를 바랍니다. 모두를 환영합니다. 함께 하나님을 예배합시다.

모든 민족과 모든 백성의 하나님, 예수 그리스도를 통해 우리를 한 가족으로 불러 주심을 찬양합니다. 주님의 식탁에는 모든 언어, 모든 문화, 모든 세대를 위한 자리가 있습니다. 우리가 두려움으로 인해 분열하고, 교만 때문에 이웃과 멀어지고, 편견으로 다른 이들의 은사를 보지 못했음을 고백합니다. 성령으로 우리를 새롭게 하셔서 넉넉히 환영하고, 기쁨으로 섬기며, 그리스도 안에서 한 몸으로 신실하게 살아가는 교회가 되게 하소서. 우리의 마음을 준비시켜 주셔서 주님의 은혜를 받고 세상 가운데 평화를 이루는 도구가 되게 하소서. 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

성찬으로의 초대

우리 주 예수 그리스도께서는 하나님의 은혜를 구하며, 평화를 사랑하고, 하나님과 이웃을 사랑하기를 원하는 모든 사람을 이 식탁으로 초대하십니다. 이 식탁은 어느 한 나라나 문화, 특정 교단의 것이 아니라, 온 세상을 품으시는 그리스도의 식탁입니다. 이곳에서 낯선 이는 이웃이 되고, 원수는 친구가 되며, 굶주린 이는 하나님의 은혜로 배부르게 됩니다. 자격이 있어서가 아니라 은혜로우신 그리스도께서 부르시기에 우리는 주님 앞에 나아갑니다. 우리는 모두 이 식탁으로 초대받습니다.

거룩하시고 은혜로우신 하나님, 태초에 주님께서는 한 인류를 창조하시고 이 땅을 우리에게 맡기셨습니다. 두려움이 우리를 갈라놓고 교만이 민족과 민족 사이에 벽을 세웠을 때도 주님의 사랑은 결코 우리를 떠나지 않았습니다. 예언자들과 평화를 이루는 사람들을 통해, 자비의 손길과 희망의 말씀을 통해, 주님께서는 끊임없이 우리를 하나님과 서로를 향한 언약으로 부르셨습니다. 하나님은 예수 그리스도를 보내셔서 나그네를 환영하시고, 굶주린 이를 먹이시며, 상한 자를 고치시고, 죄인을 용서하시며, 가난한 이들에게 복음을 선포하게 하셨습니다. 우리는 그리스도 안에서 모든 경계를 넘어 온 세상을 품으시는 하나님의 끝없는 사랑을 봅니다. 그러므로 오늘 세계 여러 나라와 다양한 언어와 전통 속에서 예배드리는 모든 그리스도인과 함께, 그리고 하늘의 모든 성도와 더불어 기쁨으로 찬양합니다.

주님께서 우리를 위하여 자신을 내어 주시기 전날 밤, 예수께서는 제자들과 함께 사랑의 식탁에 앉으셨습니다. 빵을 들어 감사드리신 후 떼어 제자들에게 주시며 말씀하셨습니다. “이것을 받아서 먹으라. 이것은 너희를 위하여 주는 내 몸이니 이것을 행하여 나를 기념하라.” 또한 잔을 들어 감사드리신 후 제자들에게 주시며 말씀하셨습니다. “너희 이 잔을 마시라. 이 잔은 죄 사함을 얻게 하려고 많은 사람을 위하여 흘리는 나의 피 곧 언약의 피니, 너희가 마실 때마다 이를 행하여 나를 기념하라.” 우리는 그리스도의 삶과 죽음과 부활, 다시 오실 약속을 기억하며 우리 자신을 살아 있는 산 제물로 드립니다.

성령께서 우리와 이 빵과 잔 위에 임하셔서, 이것들이 우리에게 살아 계신 그리스도의 임재의 표징이 되게 하시고, 우리를 믿음과 소망과 사랑 안에서 하나 된 백성으로 세워 주소서. 이 식탁에서 새 힘을 얻은 우리가 세상으로 나아가 정의를 행하고, 자비를 사랑하며, 나그네를 환영하고, 창조세계를 돌보며, 모든 민족이 하나님의 나라를 기뻐하는 그날까지 복음을 전하게 하소서. 모든 존귀와 영광을 성부 하나님께, 예수 그리스도를 통하여, 성령의 하나 되게 하시는 능력 안에서 이제와 영원토록 돌립니다. 아멘.

Welcome

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Today we celebrate World Communion Sunday! Across continents and cultures, millions of Christians gather around the Lord’s Table, giving thanks for the grace that unites us in Christ. Though our languages, customs, and histories differ, we are members of one family because Christ has made us one. Today, we rejoice in the diversity of God’s people, pray for the peace of the world, and remember our calling to become ambassadors of recon-ciliation. Through our worship, our sharing at the Lord’s Table, and our generosity, may we bear witness to the unity, justice, and hope of God’s kingdom. All are welcome. Let us worship God!

Opening Prayer

God of every nation and every people, we praise you for gathering us into one family through Jesus Christ. At your table, there is room for every language, every culture, and every generation. Forgive us when fear divides us, pride separates us, or prejudice blinds us to the gifts of others. Renew us by your Spirit so that we may become a church that welcomes generously, serves joyfully, and lives faithfully as one body in Christ. Invitation to the Lord’s Table

Christ our Lord welcomes all who seek God’s grace, who long for peace, and who desire to live in love with God and neighbor. This table does not belong to any nation, denomination, or culture. It belongs to Christ, whose arms are open to the whole world. Here strangers become neighbors, enemies become friends, and the hungry are filled with grace.

Come, not because you are worthy, but because Christ is gracious. Come, for everything is ready.

The Great Thanksgiving

Holy and gracious God, from the beginning you created one human family and entrusted the earth to our care. Even when fear divided us and pride built walls between peoples, your love never failed. Through prophets and peacemakers, through acts of mercy and words of hope, you continued to call humanity into covenant with you and with one another.

Above all, you sent Jesus Christ, who welcomed the stranger, fed the hungry, healed the broken, forgave sinners, and proclaimed good news to the poor. In him we see your boundless love, a love that reaches beyond every border and embraces the whole world.
And so, with Christians in every land, with all who worship today in many languages and traditions, and with the whole company of heaven, we join our voices in joyful praise:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and love. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord. Glory to God forever.

On the night before he gave himself for us, Jesus gathered with his disciples for a meal of love. Taking bread, he gave thanks, broke it, and shared it with them, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” After the meal he took the cup, gave thanks, and shared it with them, saying, “Drink from this, all of you; this is my blood of the new covenant, poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Remembering Christ’s life, death, resurrection, and promise to come again, we offer ourselves as living witnesses of his grace. We pray that your Holy Spirit may come upon us and upon these gifts of bread and cup. Make them for us signs of Christ’s living presence, and make us one people, united in faith, hope, and love. Nourished at this table, send us into the world to seek justice, love mercy, welcome the stranger, care for creation, and proclaim the good news until every nation rejoices in your kingdom.

All honor and glory are yours, eternal God, through Jesus Christ, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, now and forever.

Breaking the Bread

Because there is one loaf, though we are many, we are one body, for we all share in the one bread. The bread  we break is a sharing in the life of Christ. The cup over which we give thanks is a sharing in the grace of Christ.

Gracious God, we thank you for meeting us at your table and feeding us with your love. Go now in the peace of Christ. Having shared one bread and one cup, go to live as one body. May God, Creator of every nation, Christ, the Bread of Life for the whole world, and the Holy Spirit, who makes us one, bless you and keep you today and always. Amen.
