This powerful hymn calls us to examine the gospel's call and our response to neighbors who are hungry, suffering, and in need. British Methodist pastor and hymn writer Andrew Pratt composed this hymn during the Manchester & Stockport District Synod in England in response to a Joint Public Issues presentation by Rachel Lampard & Paul Morrison. The hymn was first sung at the close of Synod.
