Wesley Pilgrimage in England 2022

An 11-day immersion in Wesleyan spirituality

You are invited to an eleven-day spiritual pilgrimage, walking in the footsteps of John and Charles Wesley. This journey offers an opportunity to:

• Immerse yourself in the Christian experiences of John and Charles Wesley
• Learn, pray, worship, and explore places where the Wesley brothers encountered the living God
• Form spiritual friendships with these British leaders and fellow pilgrims
• Integrate Wesleyan theology, ministry, and missional leadership
• Rekindle your spiritual passion

The Wesley Pilgrimage is open to all lay and clergy leaders. Together we will explore Epworth, the Wesley’s birthplace; Oxford, where John and Charles led the Holy Club; Bristol, where the class meeting was developed and Methodism became a movement; London, where both Wesley brothers experienced assurance of salvation; City Road the center of early Methodism; and Salisbury, home to a vital Methodist congregation once served by Francis Asbury.

This event qualifies for three Continuing Education Units.

Pilgrimage Scholarship

Commissioned Provisional Elders and Deacons, Licensed Local Pastors, Lay Servants, & Certified Lay Ministers may apply for a scholarship that reduces the registration fee to $1,095.

Registration Information

Registration fee: $2,195

The registration fee includes ten nights lodging, most meals, coach travel to pilgrimage sites, all admission fees, and more. The fee does not include airfare to England.

All pilgrims must pay a $350 non-refundable deposit to secure their place in the pilgrimage. Go to the Wesley Pilgrimage web site for details. The link for the online scholarship application is found on the Registration Information page.

While registration is closed for the 2022 Wesley Pilgrimage, we will be releasing information for the 2023 Wesley Pilgrimage soon.
