2020 AACLL ANNUAL MEETING
THEREFORE, GO! WITH HOPE THROUGH ENGAGEMENT
THE ASSOCIATION OF ANNUAL CONFERENCE LAY LEADERS

February 21 to February 24, 2020
Discipleship Ministries
Nashville, Tennessee

Our time together will include lifting up the critical role of lay leadership in the UMC for a time such as this. Keynote speaker, the Rev. Dr. Michael Bowie, Jr., senior pastor of St. Luke Community United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, will lead us as we consider our vocation as lay leaders in the specific contexts where we serve.

Thank you to all who have registered so far. This is a reminder for those who have not made it to the registration portal yet that registration is open until Friday, February 3, 2020.

To register for the 2020 AACLL meeting go to: www.eiseverwhere.com/aacll2020

The registration cost is $125 for participants, and $100 for guests. It includes: resource materials, refreshments during breaks, meals each day, and an honorarium for our guest speaker.

Each participant is responsible for BOTH their own travel arrangements and hotel room reservation. To ensure our group rates at Embassy Suites and Home2 Suites, please make your room reservation by January 21. After that our group rate for hotel rooms cannot be guaranteed.

ONCE ONSITE:

Registration/check-in is scheduled from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. on Friday, February 21, with dinner following at 6 p.m. We will then gather for Opening Worship and Communion. Saturday includes teaching sessions, jurisdictional breakout meetings, and an evening vespers service. Following Sunday morning business meetings, we will discuss the geography of our calling and enjoy local cuisine that evening. After morning meetings and closing worship our gathering ends with lunch on Monday, February 24.

We hope you can join us to connect with fellow annual conference lay leaders from across the UMC connection, visit and learn about the key role of lay leaders in our church for a time such as this, experience the vibrant Nashville scene, be inspired during worship, and care for the ongoing business of AACLL.
