The goal is to highlight and avoid common pitfalls, understand one’s long-term care rights, and provide information and tools for caregivers to become effective self-advocates when concerns arise.

Eric Carlson is an award-winning attorney with Justice in Aging. He is an advisor to attorneys working on behalf of consumers, particularly those in long-term care. He has authored books on the subject as well as the "Justice in Aging Guide, 25 Common Nursing Home Problems - and How to Resolve Them."
