LAUNCHPAD 2027 IS COMING THIS WINTER!

In the last year, Isaiah Park and Paul Nixon significantly revised Launchpad training for new ministry start-ups.  Park and Nixon represent two generations of leadership that planted thriving new faith communities. Nixon has coached more than two hundred church planters in the last thirty years in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.  Launchpad helps ministry start-up teams ask the right questions so they can customize their ministry plans to work effectively in their settings.

Increasingly, ministry start-ups happen under the umbrella of existing congregations. Planting a new place for new people does not necessarily entail buying land, constructing a building, or chartering a new church.  Launchpad is designed to help leaders plant all sorts of new faith communities, from Fresh Expressions to new campuses of existing churches to new worship communities.

Launchpad 2027 will be offered via Zoom on Tuesday evenings, starting February 9, 2027, through March 9, 2027.  Start time each Tuesday is 5:30 p.m., ET; 4:30 CT; 3:30 MT; and 2:30 PT.  Registration is $295 per team (includes up to five team members at this one low price). Because training can be delivered digitally, travel costs are irrelevant, and more people can participate.

Launchpad is one of the valuable resources Path1 offers to support the United Methodist Church’s efforts to build capacity to make new disciples in new places.
