2020 ACDLSM Convocation
By David Teel
Calling all Lay Servant Ministries Conference and District Directors! Registration for the 2020 ACDLSM Convocation is now open.
Join us January 30 - February 1, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. Our convocation theme is “Therefore, Go! with HOPE through Engagement.” Our theme scripture passage is Luke 10:1-9. We will meet at Discipleship Ministries.
Our time together begins with onsite registration at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, and finishes at 12 p.m., Saturday, February 1, before lunch. We will gather at Discipleship Ministries, D.E. Jackson Hall each day for training, worship, and networking.
Each participant will choose where they wish to stay during the convocation and are responsible for their own travel to and from Nashville, Tennessee via plane, train, or automobile.
Before you register, please click here to see the hotel information. You are welcome to choose one of the options or stay at the hotel of your choice. We have arranged for a negotiated rate with two hotels. Note the time limit for getting that rate for each of the hotels.
The registration cost is $75.00 and includes dinner on Thursday, January 30; lunch and dinner on Friday, January 31; coffee, snacks, the new LSM course materials, transportation to and from Thistle Farms, as well as honorariums for our guest speaker and facilitators. Registration fee for spouses is $60.00.
We hope you can join us to make connections with fellow LSM Directors from across the UMC connection, visit and learn about a local outreach ministry, visit The Upper Room bookstore, experience firsthand our newest LSM course, be inspired during worship, and care for some ACDLSM business.
Registration deadline is Tuesday, January 14, 2020.
