A Warm Welcome to Rev. Anne Bosarge
Dear Discipleship Ministries Staff,
We are excited to welcome Rev. Anne Bosarge as the new Director of Church Planting Resource Development on the World Service side of Discipleship Ministries. She will work with the Community Engagement and Church Planting/Path 1 Team, effective July 10, 2026.
Rev. Bosarge is a licensed local pastor who currently serves as the Director of Leadership Strategies and Local Church Resources for the South Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church. She partners with clergy and lay leaders to strengthen discipleship, cultivate healthy leadership, and help churches navigate change with clarity and hope. Anne is passionate about making faith formation practical, accessible, and deeply rooted in everyday life. Her work focuses on equipping local churches with simple, effective tools that lead to meaningful spiritual growth and missional impact.
In this new role, Anne will lead the development and distribution of practical, field-ready resources and high-quality content designed to nurture new faith communities and support disciple-making efforts. Her responsibilities will also include optimizing online engagement and developing revenue-generating strategies to strengthen church-planting initiatives across the denomination.
Reflecting on her reason for joining Path 1, she shared, “I’m excited to join Path 1in helping equip both clergy and laity to plant new faith communities in creative, contextual, and innovative ways. I believe the church grows strongest when we make disciple-making simple, practical, and rooted in the everyday lives of people and communities.”
Rev. Bosarge lives in Brunswick, Georgia, with her husband, Corey. They have three adult children and two black labs they treat as children.
Please join us in welcoming Anne to the team!
