Young Joseph the Dreamer

Words: Carolyn Winfrey Gillette, 2017
Music: THE ASH GROVE, Trad. Welsh melody

In response to the work to support DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), hymn writer Carolyn Winfrey Gillette adds commentary to this work by pointing out that Joseph (Genesis 37-50) resided in a foreign land and is well known for his gifts of dreaming of interpreting dreams. As we continue the work of knowing, understanding, and supporting our neighbors in love, may we be willing to sing these words of hope and thankfulness.
