Worship & Song Reading Session

Here is a plan for a reading session to introduce the contents of Worship & Song (2011) to a congregation or group. The entire list may be sung in an hour if the leader refrains from making comments, corrections, explanations, or rehearsing. This sheet may be used as a handout to participants to help them quickly turn to the next selection and follow the portions of hymns and songs to be sung in the session. There is also a space for them to write brief comments for future referral. Leaders should plan ahead and mark some items to either be sure to include or to eliminate if time runs out.
