Tuesday Tea with Melanie is a webinar series focused on embracing children and families as part of the disciple-making process in local congregations. The series opens up the enlivening questions at the center of children’s faith formation: Will our children have faith? How do we help children grow in faith? We gather experts to explore these questions in their complexity as they impact the lives of children and families in the digital age.

In this webchat,  Melanie C. Gordon, Director of Ministry with Children at Discipleship Ministries of the UMC welcomes Glenys Nellist, Children's Ministry Coordinator, West Michigan Annual Conference, and Lynley Jones, Director Children’s Ministry, Asbury UMC, Lafayette, Louisiana to explore best practices in creating a PrayGround in a variety of worship settings. These spaces encourage families to worship with their young children in a simple space designed to meet the physical needs of young children, while engaging them in the sights and sounds of worship.
