The National Association for Relationship and Marriage Education (NARME) is holding a Summit in Denver, Colorado, July 28-30, 2017, with pre-summit training offered July 25-27. Among the outstanding plenary speakers scheduled for this event are:

Workshops offered during the Summit focus on a broad variety of general marriage and family strengthening and relationship education initiatives as well as specific topics of concern, such as ministries with military families, incarcerated persons and their families, those dealing with pornography, PTSD, and special needs children, among other concerns.
Training events offered during the pre-Summit days equip people to lead and become certified in a variety of researched- based and effective programs, including PREPARE-ENRICH, PICK, FAMILY WELLNESS, and others.
Visit http://www.narme.org/conferences/7th-annual-narme-summit/ to learn more about this event and to register. Churches or annual conferences that send teams to participate will be richly rewarded by the enthusiasm and skills with which participants will return. NARME believes “we are all challenged to be the change in our communities. What better way to inspire, teach, and empower each of us than to hear first-hand how we have the opportunity to make life changing impact in our participants ‘and clients’ lives.” (website)
Richard Albertson, a United Methodist from Florida, was Instrumental in the founding of NARME in 2010 and serves on its Board. He is the Founding President and CEO of Live the Life, a statewide organization in Florida with offices in Lakeland and Tallahassee, focused on strengthening marriages. Since Live the Life, which offers youth relationship education, premarital programs, and an Adventures in Marriage curriculum, was founded in 1998, the divorce rate in Leon County has dropped 44%. His pioneering work demonstrates the power of relationship education ministries to make a real difference in persons’ lives.
