Song of the Righteous:  A Call to Worship for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost, Year C

Leader: Hear what God says about those who strive to walk in the Way of Discipleship:
"The righteous flourish like the lush palm tree and are strong like the cedar."
(Psalm 92:12)

People: We are like trees planted near a steady source of water with green leaves and good fruit. (Jeremiah 17:8)

Leader: Our fruit is love

People: Joy!

Leader: Peace!

People: Patience!

Leader: Kindness!

People: Generosity!

Leader: Faithfulness!

People: Gentleness!

All: And Self-Control! (Galatians 5:22-23)
God, as we come together on this day of worship may we flourish and bear good fruit.
