Words & Music: Jackson Henry, 2012
Topics: Renewal, transformation, change, redemption

This new contemporary song was composed by The Rev. Jackson W. Henry, an ordained Deacon in the Tennessee Conference of The United Methodist Church and the Director of Music Ministries at Discipleship Ministries. A graduate of the Perkins School of Theology Master of Sacred Music program, Jackson was a member of the editorial committee for Worship & Song. The song was submitted to the 2012 United Theological Seminary's hymn writing contest and was sung as part of the contest's celebration concert. The composer writes, "The choir from United Seminary added an alto harmony line in the verses a third below. I didn't include it in the original, but it sounded great."
