O Wondrous Sight! O Vision Fair

Words: Sarum Breviary, 1495; trans. by John Mason Neale, 1851; refrain by Jackson W. Henry, 2016
Music: NEW WAREHAM, arr. Jackson W. Henry, 2016

This new setting of an old hymn text and tune provides some energy and rhythm to the original WAREHAM tune by William Knapp, 1738. The hymn is a recalling of the story of the Transfiguration of Jesus and could serve as a congregational hymn, unison choral work, or a solo. The accompaniment is provided in lead sheet format in the hopes that it will soon be written out for keyboard as well.
