Love Divine (BARTLETT)

Words by Charles Wesley, 1747
Music by Dean McIntyre, 2013

The familiar and favorite hymn by Charles Wesley is here given a more modern, perhaps more expressive musical setting without altering the text. The tune, BARTLETT, is named for Todd and Laura Jaquith Bartlett, hosts at a 2013 Liturgical Arts Renewal Conference at the Alton Collins Retreat Center in Oregon. The music was composed during the flight to the conference, and the hymn was first sung there. The hymn is also appropriate as a wedding solo.
