As a favorite Wesley hymn in 87.87D meter, "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling" is sung to numerous tunes, including BEECHER, HYFRYDOL, HOLY MANNA, and BLAENWERN. In the British Methodist Church, BLAENWERN is preferred. In fact, in 2005 "Love Divine" sung to BLAENWERN was voted as one of Britain's ten favorite hymns. It was one of three hymns sung at the 2011 Westminster Abbey wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
