Kenneth Morrison writes of this composition: "This gospel-style choral anthem was written for the choir of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lambertville, NJ. It was commissioned by Pastor Anna Gillette for use during her Eastertide sermon, "Gone Fishin': Fishing Tales from the Gospels" in conjunction with Lambertville's annual Shad Fest, held when the shad come through their part of the river. This arrangement is designed for use by two-part choir with soloist and piano.”
