Also known as "Newry."

Wesley called this tune "Salisbury Tune" in the Foundery Collection of 1742. It is also known as "Anglia," "Easter Morn," "The Resurrection," and "Worgan."

This tune was composed ca. 1752 by Handel specifically for this Charles Wesley text.

This tune is known in Great Britain as "Nun Danket All."

Also called Tallys, St. Georges, Bronswick, Old 104th.

Wesley wrote in his Journal (March 29, 1774 and March 30, 1787) of this being one of his favorite tunes.

Tune by John F. Lampe, 1746, in Hymns on the Great Festivals and Other Occasions. All of the tunes in this collection were repeatedly used by the Wesleys.

Included in John Wesleys Sacred Harmony, 1780.

One of his favorite texts and tunes, it was sung by John Wesley on his deathbed, March 2, 1791. This text was included in his 1737 Charleston collection.

Included in Foundery Collection, 1742, and Select Hymns, 1765. Tune is also known as "Es sind doch selig alle," "Geneva 36," and "Que Dieu se monstre seulement."

A Moravian tune that John Wesley may have learned while in Savannah. Wesley titled this tune "Herrnhuth Tune" in his Foundery Collection. In that same collection there is a different Moravian tune named "Savannah Tune," which later came to be known as "Irene."

Also known as "Nottingham," "Birmingham," and "Greenock."

John Wesleys altered version in Foundery Collection was titled "Cannon Tune."

Wesley called this tune "Clarks Tune" in Foundery Collection, but it also was known as "Bradford." Wesley renamed it "Uffingham" and used it for five hymns in the 1786 edition of his 1780 Collection.

Named for Martin Luthers version of this tune that accompanied his Lords Prayer translation. Wesley learned it from Moravians in or on the way to Georgia, and included it in Foundery Collection as "Playfords tune." His 1780 Collection used it for ten hymns.

Wesley learned this tune from the Moravians and included a version of it in Foundery Collection under the name "Slow German Tune."

Called "Swift German Tune" in Foundery Collection.
