In Haiti There Is Anguish

Music Tune:St. Christopher, by Frederick C. Maker (1881)

This hymn is in response to the earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010. The composer encourages congregations and singers of this hymn to support relief work in Haiti through United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and Church World Service. Hymn writer Carolyn Winfrey Gillette visited Haiti on a mission trip when she was a UMC-related Lebanon Valley College student.
