Come Rejoicing, Come with Singing

Words: R. Frederick Crider, 2009
Music: W ZLOBIE LEZY, Polish carol, arr. Edith M. G. Reed, 1926

United Methodist pastor and hymn writer R. Frederick Crider has written this short one-stanza text that was first used as a response with the lighting of the Christ Candle on Christmas Eve in his own church. It is suitable throughout the Christmas season as a congregational or choral response, or as an added stanza to the hymn, "Infant Holy, Infant Lowly" (UM Hymnal, no. 229).
