Assistant Director of Research & Evaluation (exempt) – Reports to Director of Research & Evaluation

The Assistant Director of Research & Evaluation position supports the overall work of the Office of Research and Evaluation through managing data gathering, analysis reporting and presentation, as well as assistance in office administration.

The successful candidate must have an understanding of relevant research methodologies, data analysis and visualization and basic evaluation practice. Knowledge of United Methodist Church (discipline/polity, basic beliefs and practices). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with periodical literature databases.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency (Master’s preferred) / Three or more years of experience in data gathering and analysis, office administration, and church-related systems.
