Program Administrative Manager, Emmaus Ministries (non-exempt), Reports to Director, Emmaus Ministries

The Program Administrative Manager provides program management and administrative services for The Emmaus Ministries, including offering organizational and technical solutions, managing financials, assisting contractors and interpreting contract obligations, building relationship with Emmaus Ministries communities. This position will provide editorial support and assist in event planning for regional and international events.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and practice of office management, excellent public relations and communication skills, editorial skills, customer care, financial processes, event planning, logistics, and contract negotiation. Preferred knowledge of The United Methodist Church structure and polity; ability to use discretion, judgment and initiative and to make independent decisions; demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of constituents of The United Methodist Church; demonstrated cultural sensitivity; willingness to work in a team environment; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency / One-three years related work experience.
