Advantage System Specialist

Advantage System Specialist (Exempt), Reports to Director of Software Engineering – The Upper Room

The Advantage System Specialist will be responsible for ensuring stability, proper configuration, and ideal functionality for the Advantage system to equip staff and ensure the proper setup for daily operational activities. This specialist will monitor daily automated tests and find resolution with reported errors. The specialist will be the point person for Advantage related questions, issues, and bugs and the lead for finding resolution.

An ideal candidate will have experience working in a team, managing competing priorities, achieving target dates, and communicating & coordinating with various department stakeholders and vendors. A successful candidate will take ownership of the Advantage system, establish a streamlined working relationship with the vendor, and contribute constructively to the objectives of The Upper Room.

Education / Experience

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

Two years related experience in systems administration, computer science, computer engineering or related IT field.
