Give Me A New, A Perfect Heart

This Wesley text last appeared in the 1905 Methodist Hymnal. Ryan D. Neaveill, minister of music at Grace UMC in Decatur, Illinois, and a seminarian at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, wrote this tune on March 15 -- hence the tune name, Ides. The hymn is especially appropriate for Lent.
